Bodegas Enosur

The ancestors of Jacqueline Tytgat and Monica Lopez own their own vineyards and have been growing grapes for nearly 100 years. In 2004 Jacqueline and Monica founded Bodegas Enosur. Their mutual goal was to produce the best possible wines from the vineyards of their ancestors. They hired the best talent to assist them, including Hector Durigutti to oversee the vineyards and make the wines, and Paul Durigutti to manage the bodega. Their vineyards are located in Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valleys at about 3900 feet above sea level. The near desert conditions in the vineyards with wide temperature variations between very hot days and very cool nights during the growing season are ideal to produce grapes with maximum concentration. They respect the ecological environment by not using any pesticides in the vineyards. The water for minimal irrigation comes from Artesian wells.
